We have been using Zap Calendar for quite some time. All events were usually added with our joomla default timezone, America/Chicago. At some point in the last month, after version upgrades, and server php upgrades, our new events quit defaulting to America/Chicago. We've checked the main options screen, no default setting there for events timezone. Any ideas on what might have happened to lose our default timezone on all new events added?

We are current, zap calendar pro 4.3.7, and we tried php5.6, and php7 on the server side.
joomla default timezone is set. the timezone on calendars is set. I even tried adding an event with the now default UTC, but the event still showed(honred) the event's timezone over the one the calendar is set to.(event showed as UTC instead of America/Chicago like the calendar is set to.
