Does anyone here know how to get the Upcoming Events module to show only a certain category/categories?
Also is there an actual filtering module? I installed the latest ZAP Calendar highest level and yet I don't see a module that seems to match the description in the documentation
The administrator has disabled public write access.

There appears to be an installation issue with the filter module. You can use the filter plugin until the next release or I can send you the filter module prior to the next release. The filter should show only the categories defined for the calendar where it is being shown.
