The Recent Comments Module

Module Name: recent comments

Availability: Zap Calendar Pro

This module displays the most recent comments created from the Zap Calendar commment plugin.  Users can click on the comment to see the full discussion for that event.  This module will include a user's avatar when displaying the comment if one of the social plugins is installed.  The comment plugin is required in order to use this module.

Configuration:

The comment plugin must first be configured and installed (click here for more information on the comment plugin.)    After installing and enabling this module, you will have the following options:

  • moduleclass_sfx - Use this field to customize the look of the module (requires CSS changes to template)
  • itemid - This is the menu id that is used to link to the comment. When a user clicks on a comment, the link will take them to the event on this menu page. The itemid needs to point to a Zap Calendar page.
  • categories - Comments will only be displayed if they are in this comma delimited list of categories. The list can contain parent categories of events.  If blank, then the category will not be considered.
  • count - The maximum number of comments to display. The default value is 5.
