The AcyMailing Plugin

Purpose: To display event information in e-mail newsletters created by the AcyMailing component for Joomla

Configuration:

Install the AcyMailing component if not already done.  Install and enable the Zap Calendar plugin for AcyMailing.  This plugin is found in the tags toolbar option when creating or editing a newsletter and will work with all versions of AcyMailing.  It utilizes three tabs for selecting events - a general events tab for selecting individual events, a categories tab for selecting events by category, and a views tab for selecting events by view.  If you use sub-categories on your site, you can select just the parent category to include all child categories and their associated events.
