TOPIC: format change after php upgrade from 5.3 to 5.6

format change after php upgrade from 5.3 to 5.6 6 years 9 months ago #6425

We're a loyal zap calendar customer, but we had a change that wasn't intended when we site migrated to a new server with php 5.6.
bentonschools.org

the events are now hidden, no event titles show. I've dug into the rendered html via google dev tools.
the bit of code responsible for not showing the text appears to be coming from common-narrow.css, like some kind of width issue has been triggered. the rest of the code comes from common.css
the customer is complaining that the icon of a calendar didn't use to show, and the titles used to be there.
What do we need to do?

Hi,
Sorry for the delay. It sounds like a CSS issue. common-narrow.css is used for phones and other small screen devices. I'm not sure why a PHP update would affect that. If your calendar is in a narrow column on your site, that may trigger the narrow css. Renaming the common-narrow.css file to something else may be a quick fix, or put the calendar in a wider column.

renaming the common-narrow.css file did indeed fix the issue.
Thanks!
