New to Joomla and looking for some direction. Running Joomla 1.5.7 and just installed the Z Weather 6.0. Followed the instruction and everything is working great.

When I ran the XHTM validation I had 196 errors on the Z Weather page which looks primarily to be end tag and xml parsing errors.

I have been searching through this and the Joomla forums and unable to find any posts regarding XHTM validation errors.

Being new to Joomla not sure if this is something to be concerned about and if so, how to start resolving all the errors. Honestly not even sure what file to look at. I did turn on the Show Source but not sure how to identify the specific file on the site. Again, the extension is working fine I just see lots of errors in the validation.

I do realize this this a basic question so any assistance would be appreciated.

XHTM validation is on the "to do" list, but hasn't been a high priority for me. It can help with cross browser compatibility with the application but does not guarantee it.

I see it more of an issue with template developers. It is much more work to validate an application than a template because of the various HTML outputs an application can create depending on the user input.
