Just wondering if you have had a chance to work on the joomla 1.5 native version of z-weather.
I have been using z-weather for quite some time now in legacy mode and it has worked very well for me. But, I now may very well have to drop z-weather due to a possible conflict with another module I'm using (not sure if there is a conflict yet, but it isn't looking good).
Where does the cron job write its data? Is the file path to this file supposed to be set up somewhere in the script that you provide for the cron? The problem with the other module (JSN Imageshow) is that something is writing to its xmldata file and adding/altering data in its file path statement, thus preventing it from working properly. I'm not sure if the z-weather cron could be doing this somehow, that's why I'm asking.
I would hate to lose z-weather, but I need the other module also.
Thanks,
