Well, just for grins I set up a new account on my web server, installed the latest Joomla version and installed Zap Weather. Using all of the default sample locations, I still get the same error.
I would appreciate it if someone who has this working on a website would please comment and list a properly functioning website.

Yes, the html code in articles works. I just can't get the module to work.

The component seems to be working fine. The cache shows refreshed and the lat and lon appear. Image attached.

Hey this is now fixed! Download version 8.0.3, both component and module are updated for this fix.
