I'm still not getting observations... Are there still problems at NWS?

I've got the same problem. It looks like it's updating ok, but I'm still showing the "current observations" error message. I guess there's no way to simply remove the message as the forecast looks OK. (Well...rainy. But accurate.)

Definitely a good suggestion. I believe if the cron job is used, the site is insulated from these type of issues, but I will look into it for the next version. There is error checking when the site is down but in this case the site was up but the data was not available. It is hard to anticipate all types of failures before they occur.
