I just installed Zap Weather and added this to one of my articles:

{zweather var=o_weather,loc=1}

When I try and view the page now a blank page is shown. If I remove

{zweather var=o_weather,loc=1}

Then the page shows up normally.

The plugin and the module are activated.

What am I missing?

A blank page usually means a PHP error. Go to the global configuration and set error reporting to maximum, then re-create the error. You should see an error message that will help me troubleshoot the issue.

Ok, I don't have direct access to the log files but my host said these are the errors that appear on that page:

[error] File does not exist: /home/uscoast/public_html/favicon.ico
[error] File does not exist: /home/uscoast/public_html/404.shtml

The link to the page i am working on is: www.uscoastlines.com/index.php/14-west-coast/oregon/16-oregon

Thank you for your help.

Can you access the Joomla administrator back-end? That is where you turn on the error reporting to maximum, under the Joomla global settings.

Sure. Here you go:

Fatal error: Call to a member function xpath() on a non-object in /home/uscoast/public_html/components/com_zweather/helpers/zweathervars.php on line 148
